Privately owned and operated Water and Wastewater treatment company has been running for over 50 years. Due to a drastically increased workload, the company requires an exceptional candidate to fill the
position of Electrician/Service Technician. The office, located in Kelmscott industrial area, covers all aspects of the business from design, procurement, construction, assembly, administration and management. The company requires all employees to possess and develop a diverse and innovative skill set to assist in all areas of the business as required.
Position
The ideal candidate shall be an enthusiastic individual who is eager to assist in general construction tasks as well as perform field service work and maintenance on customer sites. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be proficient at identifying faults and performing repairs on equipment such as motor drives, flow and level instrumentation and 24VDC/415VAC switchboards. Experience in water and wastewater or the plumbing industry would be beneficial for attaining this position.
Work is based in Kelmscott, however the successful candidate would be required to pass all fit for work medicals and to spend at least half their work days on client sites throughout Australia. Extensive training would be provided throughout their employment.
Qualifications:
• Australian recognised Electrical Trades Certification
• A Current Driver's Licence
• Construction Industry Blue/White Card and experience in the Mining environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and procedure manuals.
• Able to work autonomously
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
