An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced recruitment/sales professional to oversee and grow the Brisbane North Business Centre.

As a key part of WorkPac's busy South East Queensland region, this is a rewarding role for a motivated and tenacious individual to expand and develop a Brisbane recruitment centre.



With a keen focus on good leadership and sales management, the Business Centre Manager provides the drive and support necessary for their team to achieve the highest level of sales growth, client and candidate service, whilst improving the ratio of profitability to sales.

With access to a wide range of support resources, including financial services, corporate business development, marketing resources and training and recruitment support, success and reward is well within reach for the right person.

The Opportunity
An opportunity now exists for a motivated, success driven individual to join our Brisbane Business Centre in the role of Business Centre Manager.

This very successful operation services both corporate and retail clients and has an enviable reputation for excellence in all facets of its operations.

Reporting to the Regional Manager for that area, you will lead a team of staff comprising Business Development Managers, Recruitment Coordinators, Team Leaders, Business Centre Administration Manager and Receptionist.

Tasks include (but are not limited to):
•Setting realistic, achievable stretch target budgets for operatives at the start of each financial year.
•Continually monitoring, coaching, and mentoring your staff, helping them develop professionally, whilst holding them accountable for their performance.
•Identifying key potential clients and maintain strong relationships with existing clients within your operating region.
•Ensuring your team adheres to WorkPac’s quality systems and procedures.
•Driving a positive and productive team culture, in line with WorkPac’s Mission and Values.
•Ensuring your team is aware of, and complies with WorkPac’s safety systems so any risk to our clients, our candidates, our people, and our business are eliminated or at least minimised.
•With the assistance of the WorkPac Learning & Development Centre, take full accountability for all staff training in your area.

Desired Experience/Skills
•Demonstrated experience in sales, management and leadership roles.
•Proven experience in growing a sales portfolio through strategic Business Development.
•Labour hire / recruitment industry experience.
•Exposure to working within Quality Assurance and Safety Systems.
•Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at all levels, internally and externally.
•Exceptional presentation, influencing, persuading and listening skills.
•Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, motivate and retain an effective team of people.
•Proven ability to lead and guide sales, recruitment and administrative teams, towards agreed Business Centre objectives
