Therapy Assistant – Hydrotherapy
• Casual position - Westbourne Park location
• Fitness instruction with Aquatherapy

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident person to join our Westbourne Park Allied Health Services team. Duties are varied and include: running group and individual exercise programs for Hydrotherapy and Falls and Balance, as well as the assisting in the office, managing appointments and assisting with enquiries and referrals. You’ll be working alongside a passionate group of professionals including Podiatrists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.

Essential Requirements
This is a wonderful opportunity for a personable, team oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You’re highly organised, with proven reception and clerical skills, experienced in the preparation of accurate documentation. You have a genuine affection and empathy for elderly people, a proven understanding of ageing client needs and comprehend the benefits of exercise on the older client in maintaining maximal function. You are an Australian resident or hold a current Australian Working VISA.

Highly Desirable Requirements
• Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistant (or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge) or related certificates
• Qualifications with Active Ageing SA or equivalent exercise management with older people.
• Manual Handling training
• Senior First Aid Certificate
