Stellar Recruitmentis aligned with one of Australia’s leading civil construction contractors andis currently seeking the skills of a talented Construction

Manager.The position will report to the Project Manager on a major upstream oil and gasproject which is due to commence in April 2012.

To be considered for this Construction Manager position you will ideallypossess;

• Previous construction management experience on $200m+ civil infrastructure projects
• Exposure to HDPE pipeline projects (water or gas) with knowledge of associated trenching and polypipe welding
• Broad experience across earthworks and concrete including roads and dams
• Demonstrated success in managing projects within cost and time
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial acumen with a keen eye for detail regarding contractual and financial issues
• Demonstrated performance in driving project productivity in line with the master schedule
• The ability to integrate diverse work groups including subcontractors
• Genuine commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance

Given the project timeframes it is intended that interviews will be completedin January with a view to commencement in late February or early March. If theideal candidate is available more readily this can also be facilitated.
