International Owner Operator are looking for an experienced Mine Engineer toassist in running of existing and planning of new developments within their industry leading site inWA.
You will beresponsible for some of the following functions within the mine planning team;
- Production engineering - interface between weekly & daily plans and mine production
- Weekly planning - development of weekly production schedule
- Overburden design - ensure overburden designs and development sequence of benches exist to provide continuity of operations for the overburden fleet
- Mine planning and scheduling
- Mine economics and resource optimisation
- Maintaining and enhancing effective client relationships
- Project management and team leadership
- Feasibility studies
Qualifications andexperience required:
- Mining engineering or other relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in underground mining
- Proven experience in mine planning software such as Vulcan
